3. Is it a Product That We Believe In -
If we don't believe in the product we cannot effectively sell it. Many times we become affiliates because we have actually purchased the product and we have had success with it on a personal basis. This makes selling the product easy because we can discuss firsthand our experiences.

Many times common sense prevails. Look at the program, does it appeal to you, has it been around for awhile, are there testimonials from reliable people. We always do a google search on the program, if there are any issues you will usually find them in the search results.

When considering affiliate programs remember that you still have to work at promoting the product in the same way you would if you were a rep for a company. It is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a business that you have to allow time to work for the efforts you are putting into it.
